Strueth

Strueth is an Alsatian village with 333 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Vallée de la Largue in the French department of Haut-Rhin. The community is a member of the Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Largue.

A hilly landscape, forests, fields and half-timbered houses dot the village. Worth mentioning is the chapel of Saint- André in the Rue de la Chapelle. You probably built in the 18th century.

Geography

Strueth is the Sundgau and is one of the border towns of Alemannic dialect area, 22 kilometers southeast of Belfort and about twelve kilometers southwest of Altkirch located. The Largue, which rises near Oberlarg, flows past the east side of town.
