Course
As part of the expansion of the mine for the power station Hazelwood the start of the Strzelecki Highway was moved to the west. He is now the continuation of Morwell Thorpdale Road ( B460 ) and crosses soon after its inception, the Princes Freeway (M1 ) on the western edge of Morwell. Then he heads southwest to the town of Leongatha on Gippsland Highway ( A440 ). The Bass Highway ( B460 ) forms its continuation to the coast.
