Studentexamen

Called the secondary school leaving certificate, also called " High School " or " school leaving certificate " is a certificate of " general university ". The high school seniors or high school graduates (also called Matura or Abitur ) after the completion of secondary school and passed the matriculation examination awarded the certificate of maturity and therefore very qualified to study at a university.

In the secondary school leaving certificate, the performance in the individual schools are listed by notes or a points system in general. In the individual subjects that were completed before the 13th and final year, the final report mark will be accepted. In addition, international schools often provide an international school leaving certificate ( International Baccalaureate (IB ) ), which is recognized in many countries as proof of qualification for studies at a university.
