Studenzen ( place name of Slavic Studenica = " Kaltenbach " ) is a municipality with 695 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the South-Eastern Styria district in the south- east of Styria, Austria.

Geographical Location
Studenzen lies about 26 km east of Graz, approximately 10 km north-west of the district capital field creek in East Styrian Hill Country, and is the gateway to the volcano country.

Coat of arms
The award of the municipality coat of arms came into effect on 1 April 2001. Coat Description: A shield of red and blue, of a silver leafed and fertilized twice bent elm branch diagonally quartered, is in blue right in plan view a silver fountain, left a silver millstone.
