Sture Andersson

Carl Mikael Sture Andersson ( born November 18, 1949 in Örnsköldsvik ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player.

Career

Sture Andersson began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at MoDo AIK, for the first team, he was active from 1972 to 1984 - first in Division 1 and from the 1975/76 season in its successor league Elitserien. In the 1978/79 season the defender won the Swedish championship title with MoDo AIK. For this success he contributed with 15 points scorers, including four goals in 41 games.

Internationally

For Sweden, Andersson took part in the World Cup 1979 and the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. In both tournaments he won the bronze medal with his team.
