Subaru Exiga 2.0GT

The Subaru Exiga is a car model of the Japanese car manufacturer Subaru. Since 17 June 2008, the seven-seater and five-door crossover SUV is available exclusively to the Japanese market. The available with front - or all-wheel drive vehicle is positioned between the Outback and the Tribeca and combines features of a sport utility vehicle with those of a van and a station wagon.

Visually, the production model is based on the same concept car that was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show 2007. Striking are the air intake on the bonnet, slightly uphill from the B-pillar side line in the window band integrated, black -clad D-pillar and the two-part rear lights with LED technology. The color scheme of the interior is either beige or black in combination with inlays of wood and aluminum. In addition, the overhead console, storage pockets and footwells are indirectly illuminated by a blue LED light. An optional panoramic glass roof is to derive sufficient light into the interior with the height- staggered rows of seats.

A total of four trim levels are offered:

  • 2.0i, base model with front - or all-wheel drive
  • 2.0i- L, front - or all-wheel drive
  • 2.0i- S -wheel drive
  • 2.0GT, top model with all-wheel drive, including grille, side skirts and a roof spoiler

For the Exiga Two Boxer engines. On the one hand, a 2.0 - liter gasoline engine with 109 kW ( 148 hp ), maximum torque of 191 Nm in conjunction with a four-speed automatic. On the other hand, a 2.0 -liter turbo engine with an output of about 163 kW ( 222 hp) and a maximum torque of 326 Nm. The turbo engine is only offered in combination with the equipment line 2.0GT and a five-speed automatic transmission.
