The Subaru XT ( in other countries also known as Alcyone or vortex) is a sports coupe with all-wheel drive, which was offered in Germany from 1985 to 1991. With its wedge shape, it has a very low drag coefficient (Cd - value = 0.29). Technically, the vehicle is closely related to the Subaru L- series and builds largely on identical vehicle parts. Motor / drive

The pneumatic suspension is height-adjustable. It descends in the raised position automatically from 80 km / h for security reasons (as well as partly in the Subaru L- series). Furthermore, it has ventilated disc brakes on the front axle, rear disc brakes easily. As more equipment is also a hill start help available. In 1991, Subaru with the Subaru SVX again a coupe on the market. However, this was not comparable with the XT. It had a much more powerful engine, a far higher purchase price and therefore a different target group.
