Subjective idealism

The subjective idealism is a theory of knowledge that is contrary to the realism. She holds an external, independent from consciousness reality unknowable. The principal representative of the British reconnaissance George Berkeley.

The designation as a subjective idealism is based on the assumption that all knowledge is dependent on the subject and there is no subject-independent perspective on reality. For example, the Kantian philosophy is sometimes referred to as subjective idealism, even if Kant had they not called that.
