Submental lymph nodes

The chin lymph nodes ( lymph nodes [ lymph ]. Submental ) are a group of lymph nodes on the chin of the people, between the anterior bellies of Mm. digastrici. The catchment area ( tributary area ) are next to the chin, the lower lip, oral cavity floor and the tip of the tongue. The lymphatic drainage is via the mandibular lymph nodes of the deep cervical lymph nodes.
