Subscapular artery

The subscapular artery (Latin for, sub- scapular artery ') is an artery of the upper extremity. It arises from the distal (distal) portion of the axillary artery, forming a short vessel trunk, the divide at the medial axillary gap in the artery thoracodorsal and circumflex scapular artery.

At the subscapular artery, the third group of the axillary lymph nodes is superficial.
