Subsea 7 is a global engineering and construction company with headquarters in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom, registered in Luxembourg. The company is mainly in the oil and gas industries operate (suppliers, installation). Subsea 7 is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange in the financial index OBX.

The largest shareholder with 39 %, the company Siem Industries. More than 14,000 people are employed at Subsea 7 worldwide (as of 2013). 2012 sales of $ 6.297 billion was achieved. Subsea 7 has a fleet of over 40 specialized vessels, including for laying pipelines and installation of subsea structures. The fleet is supported for underwater work with over 175 ROVs.

The company is divided into four operational areas. North Sea, Canada; Africa, Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea; Brazil; Asia and Middle East.

Subsea 7 is the sponsor of the gambling in the Norwegian Tippeligaen football club Viking FK.

History

Subsea 7 is the result of several mergers between DSND, Halliburton Subsea, Subsea Offshore, Rockwater and most recently in 2010 with Acergy.

Since August 2005, Subsea 7 is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
