Sud-Est Department

Sud -Est ( East German ) is a department in the south of Haiti on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. It has 518 200 inhabitants ² on an area of ​​2023 km. Capital is Jacmel.

Location

The Department is located on the south coast of the island and meets the east by the Dominican Republic. In the north, the department of Ouest neighbor to the west, the department of Nippes, which abuts a narrow strip of land. Nippes is mainly on the northern coast of the peninsula. With the South Department, the actual neighbors to the west, there is no direct limit.
