NSG Sudbachtal

The Sudbach is a right tributary of the river Werre in the northeast of the German Federal State of North Rhine -Westphalia. The lake is part of the river system in the Weser and drained a small part of the Ravens Berger hill country.

Environment

Since 1995, a three-kilometer stretch of the river is designated as a nature reserve Sudbachtal. This area covers an area of ​​23 hectares on both sides of the B61, which spans the valley by a bridge, in wages - Gohfeld. The natural stream valley is pronounced as a typical for the Ravens Berger hills Sieksystem with box profile. It can be found in the valley alder, ash and oak, beech on the slopes as well.
