Åšuddhodana

Shuddhodana ( Sanskrit: शुद्धोदन, Suddhodana; Hindi also Shuddhodhan ) was the father of Shakyamuni, the historical Buddha. He came from the people of the Shakya. Suddhodana said to have the old Indian state of Kapilavastu, in northern India, today, ruled in Nepal.
