The Samtgemeinde Suderburg is an integrated municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony.

Geography
The area of the velvet municipality Suderburg lies in the southwestern part of the district of Uelzen in the city triangle Hamburg - Hannover - Braunschweig. The Gerdau and the Hardau flow through the Municipality. The area is affected by the federal highways 4, 191 and 71 and from the train Hannover - Hamburg.

Samtgemeinderat
The Samtgemeinderat consists of 18 councilors and the mayor directly elected Samtgemeinde. It is composed of the following parties or voter communities:
