Sudoku Cube

The Sudoku Rubik's Cube is a combination of the well-known since the 1980's Rubik's Cube (also known as Rubik's Cube ) and a Sudoku puzzle.

Function

The six sides of the cube does not consist simply of different colored fields, but show in each of nine sub- squares digits 1 to 9 Rubik's Cube is to be adjusted by turning the levels so that to see on each of the six sides all digits 1-9 are. The sequence of digits used As with Sudoku puzzles does not matter.

The Sudoku Rubik's Cube otherwise works just like the traditional Rubik's Cube. The particular difficulty is that one does not - may instantly know which fields belong together - like the colors. It is therefore not easy to keep track when turning and moving the cube.

Solution

For the solution is crucial to know the source or target position of the cube. Without knowing it, it is hardly possible to get to your destination. As in the regular Rubik's Cube, there are in fact only one possible solution to arrange the fields correctly. The initial position of the cube looks like this:

History

The cube was developed by the Americans Jay Horowitz 2006. He presented the cube on the New York International Toy Fair.
