Production

The editors of South Tyrol today consists of 10 editors and has its headquarters in Bolzano. There, the individual contributions are also produced. History

South Tyrol today went on 1 April 1996 for the first time on the air. Production and financing done by the ORF in cooperation with a private station, but the ad-supported concept failed and the project was discontinued in 1998. After a two year break, the show was made ​​in 2000 on a new legal basis and integrated into the program of the ORF. Funding is since on the one hand by the ORF, the other by the South Tyrolean provincial government.
