Sue Gunter

Sue Gunter ( May 22nd, 1939 in Leake County, Mississippi; † August 4, 2005 in Baton Rouge) was an American basketball coach. Between 1982 and 2004, she coached the women's basketball team at Louisiana State University. On 19 February 2004 she resigned for health reasons back from the coaching job. At this time, Gunter was the third-highest number of wins in college Women's Basketball refer.

On April 4, 2005 Sue Gunter was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. She is also a member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
