Sue Townsend

Susan Lillian Townsend, named " Sue " ( born April 2, 1946 in Leicester) is an English author. She was best known for the book series Adrian Mole.

Life

At 15, she broke off her schooling and had different activities on water. She married for the first time on her 18th birthday. Today she is married to Colin Broadway and has four children, Sean, Daniel, Victoria and Elizabeth, and five grandchildren. Your career as a writer began when in 1978 joined a group of authors of the Phoenix Art Centre in Leicester. My first play was Womberang and was awarded the Thames Television Bursary.

Townsend suffers from diabetes, as a result, she became blind in 2001.

The diary series about the fictional character Adrian Mole presented the secular model for the very popular in the Christian area book series Diary of a pious anarchists of the Christian writer Adrian Plass dar. This is among other things by the analogy of the title of the first volume of The Secret Diary Adrian Plass Aged 37 ¾ significantly. Sue Townsend has for decades been one of the most widely read authors in England.
