Sugar River State Trail
The Sugar River State Trail is a 37 km long State Trail in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It starts in New Glarus and runs over Monticello and Albany to Brodhead. The surface consists of limestone.
Flora
In the wetlands come along the way before cattails and reeds. In the forest areas are covered with oak, hickory, walnuts and cherries. Furthermore, Rhus, elder and willow occur.
Fauna
Along the way live beavers, foxes, deer, rabbits, coyotes, moles, minks, bobcats, shrews, skunks and woodchucks and Real Earth, gray and chipmunks. Furthermore, there are various types of snakes, turtles and salamanders, as well as more than 100 different bird species.
