Sugarland

Sugarland is an American country music duo from New Atlanta.

Band History

Sugarland was founded in 2003 by Kristen Hall, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush; Hall left the band in 2006. The group is in the U.S. and outside the country charts successful. So they played live shows with, among others, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Bon Jovi. The Bon Jovi hit Who Says You Can not Go Home was released in the U.S. in a version as a duet by Jon Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles.

With their debut album Twice the Speed ​​of Life Sugarland in 2004 reached number 16 on the Billboard Top 200, the second album Enjoy the Ride already earned them two years later position 4. 2008, just as a duo, they managed with Love on the Inside the leap to the top of the U.S. album charts. A year later, they could repeat the same with the live version of the album Live on the Inside.

2009 Sugarland won Grammys for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group ( Stay ) and Best Country Song ( Stay ).

On August 13, 2011 broke out shortly before a performance by Sugarland at the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis, the stage design by a storm together. Seven people were killed and 43 injured.
