Sukur

Sukur is an old cultural landscape in Madagali Local Government Area in Adamawa State in Nigeria.

She is since 1999 a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The land and the surrounding villages are dominated by a hill with the palace of the chief ( ' Hidi '). The fields are arranged in terraces. There are numerous remains of a once flourishing iron industry.
