Sule Stack

Sule Stack, Stack also Skerry (English stack = pinnacle, skerry skerry = ), is a steep, rocky and uninhabited island in the North Atlantic west of the Scottish Orkney Islands. The island has an area of 2.9 hectares and reaches a height of 36 meters.

About ten kilometers north east of Sule Stack Sule Skerry the larger island, a flat, grassy island with a lighthouse. Both islands are located on the Skerry Bank, an otherwise undersea collection and are a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, which is known as " Sule Skerry and Sule Stack".
