Sullivan Township is one of fifteen townships of Ashland County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 2076 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Sullivan Township is located in the north of Ashland County in the central northeastern Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Huntington Township, Lorain County, Spencer Township and Homer Township in Medina County, Jackson Township, Orange Township, Troy Township and at the Rochester Township, Lorain County.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
