Sulmierzyce

Sulmierzyce ( German Sulmirschütz ) is a city and seat of the municipality in Poland. The place is located in the powiat Krotoszynski the Wielkopolska Region.

History

The municipality is Sulmierzyce 1887 part of the circle Adelnau in the Prussian province Posen. In 1908 it was renamed the town in Sulmirschütz.

1920 had to cede the city because of the Versailles Treaty in Poland the Weimar Republic.

After the occupation of the city in 1939 by the German Wehrmacht, the city was re- incorporated into the German Reich. Until 1945 it was part of the district Ostrowo Correspondence of the Warta country.
