Sultan Munadi

Sultan Mohammad Munadi ( born November 22, 1976 † 9 September 2009) was an Afghan journalist and translator. He worked among others for the New York Times and the Afghan state radio Good Morning Afghanistan.

Munadi was together with his British-Irish colleague Stephen Farrell kidnapped on September 5, 2009, a report near Kunduz in northern Afghanistan by the Taliban and was used in the rescue operation by the British Special Boat Service of the Royal Marines (SBS ) September 9, 2009 shot.
