Sulzberg (Lower Bavaria)

The Sulzberg ( 1146 m ) is a mountain in the Bavarian Forest northeast of the city Freyung and is located in the Bavarian Forest Nature Park in about 4 km to the border with the Czech Republic. It is completely wooded except for a small cleared area near the summit. About his comb formerly led the Golden Path.

The nearest settlement is the village of the municipality Bischofsreut Haidmuehle. Next neighboring mountains southwest of the Haidel ( 1146 m) and the Czech Republic to the northeast of Žlebský kop. ( 1079 m).
