Sumitomo Denki Kōgyō K. K. (Japanese住友 电 気 工业 株式会社. Sumitomo Denki Kabushiki - Kōgyō gaisha, Eng. Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. ) is a Japanese company with headquarters in Osaka.

The company's history dates back to 1897. Company president is Masayoshi Matsumoto.

The company is part of the Sumitomo Group. Sumitomo Denki Kōgyō has 120 subsidiaries ( as of 2007). At Sumitomo Denki Kōgyō than 130,000 people are employed (as of March 2007). At Sumitomo Denso K.
