Summer Wine

Summer Wine is a book written by Lee Hazlewood song. For the first time the piece in 1966 by Hazlewood and Suzi Jane Hokom was sung and published, the great success failed to materialize. The title in 1967 became known as the Hazlewood recorded it again by this time very successful country singer Nancy Sinatra. This second version was originally the B-side of Sugartown, but when the song was popular throughout the world, it was founded in 1968 released as separate single. Summer Wine was the first in a series of duets Hazlewood and Sinatra.

Lyrics

The song describes a man who meets a woman who seduces him and takes you on a bowl of strawberries and cherries. The woman asks him to take off his silver spurs and spend time with her. The woman gives him repeatedly punch after until his eyelids are heavy and he can no longer speak. Although he tried to come back to his feet, but it does not create. When he wakes up the next day, the sun shining in his face, he has a hangover and notes that his spurs and his money are gone.
