Sumpafallen

Sumpafallen is a conservation area by the River Högvadsån. The reserve has an area of ​​56 hectares and is located in the Swedish municipality of Falkenberg. There is a national interest for nature conservation. Sumpafallen even after a decision by the government in 1995, a Natura 2000 site.

The reserve consists mainly next to the Högvadsån and its rapids of deciduous forest and pasture. Among the species found in the reserve include Alternate- leaved Golden Saxifrage, hepatica, marsh Pippau, Bitter Cress and Herb Paris. In the water there are freshwater pearl mussel, salmon and trout.
