Sun Electric

Sun Electric is a German music project in the field of electronic music. The members are Max Loderbauer and Tom Thiel.

History

Loderbauer Thiel and initially played with the musician Stephan Fischer in the band Fisherman 's Friend. When Fischer left the band Loderbauer and Thiel produced under the name Sun Electric as a duo on music. As the first publication of the project released in 1990 the single O'locco on Renaat Vandepapelieres label R & S Records. It was followed by an EP with remixes by O'locco by the musician friends of The Orb Project.

In 1993 the debut album Kitchen appears on R & S Records. 1994 had Loderbauer and Thiel with the production of the album Pomme Fritz Orb. A wider audience, the project was known by her track Sundance on the successful Café del Mar compilation.

In the coming years, the studio albums Aaah!, Present, and Via Nostra and the live album 30-7-94 published. After international appearances, the project will initially renamed SEBerlin and disbanded shortly thereafter.

Appeared in 2007 with Lost & Found ( 1998-2000) on Shitkatapult a compilation of various pieces from the years 1998 to 2000. At the same time, Sun Electric held its first since 2000 again live on.
