Sun Yi

Sun Yi (Chinese孙 翊/孙 翊) (* 183, † 204 ) was an official of Wu Dynasty during the Three Kingdoms in ancient China. He was the third son of Sun Jian. After the death of Sun Jian's brother Wu Jing was Sun Yi Marquis of Danyang.

Because Sun Ce valued him highly, he was regarded as a serious rival for Sun Quan regarding the succession. He retired but before a confrontation back and served his older brother as Marquis of Danyang. When his vassals had killed him, a commission of inquiry under Sun He was called up, but had no success in the Enlightenment. Only Sun Gao was able to uncover the conspiracy.

Sun Yi's son Sun Song later served as captain of the archers, but was chastised and demoted for a non- traditional failure of Lu Xun.
