Sunday River Bridge

The Sunday River is a left tributary of the Androscoggin River in Oxford County in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Maine.

The Sunday River originates near Mount Carlo in the Mahoosuc Range. It flows in a predominantly easterly direction for a distance of 23 km to its confluence with the Androscoggin River about 5 kilometers north of Bethel.

The lower 12 km of the Sunday River are navigable by canoe, and there are rapids of II - III degree of difficulty.

South of the river is named after the River Ski Resort Sunday River Ski Resort.
