Sung Si-bak

Sung Si -bak ( Kor. 성시백; born 18 February 1987) is a South Korean Shorttracker.

Sung was the first time internationally at the Junior World Championship in 2003 at the start, where he at first four medals, including a gold in the relay won. With the Korean team, he also joined in October 2004 for the first time in the short track speed skating World Cup on, there he reached with his first start their first win. In the Winter Universiade in 2005 Sung also cut off successfully, here he won the title over 1000 meters. Although he had once again stand at the last two World Cup races of the season 2004/ 05 the podium in the relay to beech and over 1500 meters reached the final in singles, he took part in the following season 2005/ 06 to any international races. Only at the Universiade, he started in the winter 2006/07. In this, however, he succeeded on all routes of the title, so he had finally won five victories.

Only in the short track speed skating World Cup 2007/ 08 Sung returned to the World Cup. There, he scored eight individual successes on all routes at least two, he also won the 500 -meter short track speed skating World Cup and was third in the world rankings behind his compatriots Lee Ho -suk and Ahn Hyun -soo. In the World Cup 2008/ 09 he also started with two victories in the first World Cup good.
