Suntory Hall

The Suntory Hall (Japaneseサントリー ホール, Santori HorU ) is a concert hall in the Akasaka district of Minato, Tokyo. It is one of the world's most prestigious concert halls and is funded by the Japanese beverage company Suntory.

Begun in the late 1970s opened the concert business in October 1986. She was thus the first concert hall in Tokyo, which was used exclusively for this purpose. The architect was Shoichi Sano, for the acoustics Minoru Nagata was responsible. The building has a floor area of 2909 m². Based on the Berlin Philharmonie, there are rows of seats behind the stage.

The main hall has 2006 seats. In this hall there is a 250 m² large stage and an organ of the Austrian company Rieger organ building with 74 stops and 5,898 pipes. The second hall named Blue Rose (ブルー ローズ, Buru Rozu ) has a seating 384-432 seats.
