Super Formula
The Super Formula (formerly Formula Nippon, Japaneseフォーミュラ·ニッポン, Fōmyura Nippon ) is a formula series, which runs mainly in Japan. The racing series was established in 1996 under the name Formula Nippon and retained the name until 2012 when. During this time, the racing series was only available in Japan from the race. 2013, the series was renamed to Super Formula and at the same time lifted the restriction on Japanese racetracks.
