Super Video CD#XSVCD

The XSVCD is an extension of the SVCD.

As with the XVCD the bit rates have been increased, here to 9.8 Mbit / s These are approximately the same bit rate as in a DVD. The difference for XVCD however, is that most DVD players can read SVCDs, and thus can play the XSVCD.

Despite all the XSVCD is a format in which comparatively little footage can be stored.
