Supercentenarian

Super Centenarian is derived from the English word that refers to people who have become at least 110 years. Currently estimated 300-450 supercentenarians live worldwide, of which only about 80 people have been checked.

A study published in 2010, under the auspices of the Max Planck Institute conducted for Demographic Research in Rostock international study showed that the countries are the United States, Britain, Japan, France and Italy with the most supercentenarians.

The first documented Super Centenarian, and thus the oldest man of his time, the Dutchman Geert Adriaans Boomgaard, who died in 1899 at the age of 110 years and 135 days applies.
