Supreme Court of Liberia

The Supreme Court of Liberia ( German Supreme Court of Liberia ) is the highest court in the West African country of Liberia. The seat of the Supreme Court of Liberia is situated in the "Temple of Justice" on Capitol Hill in Monrovia.

The court was authorized on 5 January 1839 by the American Colonization Society as a Tribunal for the former colonial territory of Liberia.

The Court consists of the Chief Justice of Liberia and four Associate Justice, appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. These judges may the age of 70 years have not exceeded.
