Supreme Court of Poland

Sąd Najwyższy ( Polish: the Supreme Court ) is the highest court in Poland.

The Supreme Court has its seat in Poland in Warsaw on Krasinski Square, diagonally opposite the Krasinski Palace. The court decides as the highest appeal court.

The President of Poland appoints the judges of the Supreme Court at the request of the State Council court. The first court president is selected by the President of Poland from the judges of the Supreme Court, which are called internally by the Supreme Court. His term of office is six years.

The current President of the Sąd Najwyższy is Stanislaw Dabrowski.
