Supreme Court of Uganda

The Supreme Court of Uganda is the highest court of Uganda.

Anchors the Court under Article 130 of the Constitution of Uganda in force since 1995. At present, the Constitution stipulates that the Court except its president must belong to at least six members. In contrast, provides an extensive constitutional reform that the number of judges to be determined directly by the Parliament. The decisions of the Court of Appeal and not act solely as a fact instance expectant Court bind the downstream jurisdiction.
