Sur Carungas (Romansh in the idiom Surmiran for About cornices ) is a ridge portion southwest of the ski resort of Savognin in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 2,829 m. A perky patch rock head is the highest point. Thanks to the proximity to the ski and the associated short climb (200 m) with the long run ( 1000 m ), he is a popular ski mountain.
Location
Sur Carungas belongs to the Piz Curvér group, a subgroup of the above Kamnik Alps. Over the ridge of the municipal boundary between Riom- Parsonz and Ferrera GR runs. The ridge is bordered to the east by the Val Nandro in stone above and to the west by the Ferreratal. It forms the watershed Surses / Val Ferrera.
Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Curvér, the Piz Martegnas, the Piz Cartas, the Piz september and the Piz digl Gurschus.
Northeast of Sur Carungas is the ski resort of Savognin.
Valley is a Salouf, Riom, Parsonz, Savognin, Ausserferrera and Andeer. Common starting points are radon and Piz Cartas.
