Suree Sukha

Suree Sukha (2011)

Suree Sukha ( Thai: สุรีย์ สุ ขะ, born July 27, 1982 in Sakon Nakhon ) is a Thai football player at the position of a defender. He plays for the FC Chonburi in the Thai Premier League.

Career

His teenage years spent at FC Sakon Nakon Suree. From 1999 to 2001 he played for this club. He then went for a short time to Singapore at Balestier Khalsa. Back in Thailand, he played from 2001 to 2007 for FC Chonburi. With it, he became a master of the Thailand Provincial League and was promoted to the Premier League. Two years later he celebrated his first championship with the team. In July 2007, the former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra bought the club Manchester City from England. Through his assistance Suree Sukha got together with two other players from Thailand a contract with City. However, all three players were not able to sit down and have been loaned out to other club. In addition, there were problems with the visa in England. Suree has therefore been "parked" in 2008 at the Grasshopper Zurich, before he was finally back at FC Chonburi. Back at his old club he played along with his twin brother Surat Sukha. Last changed in 2009 to Melbourne Victory in the A-League.

Since 2005, Suree is in the senior squad of the Thai national football team. With it, he took part in the final competition for Asian Cup 2007 and the ASEAN Football Championship 2008.
