SURF

SURF (English, speeded up robust features, freely translated: "Speeding, robust features") is an algorithm by Herbert Bay et al. for fast and robust detection of image features for machine vision. SURF replaces the Gaussian filter used in the SIFT by averaging filter, which can be calculated by the use of integral images of constant time.
