Surface water

As surface water is called water, which is open and unattached to the earth's surface. These include surface water such as rivers and lakes and not versickertes rainwater.

Surface water is often polluted by suspended solids or dissolved pollutants and can be used only after a water treatment for drinking or as process water for industrial purposes.
