Surface Web

The term surface web or Visible Web ( Eng.: "Surface Web" or " visible Web" ) refers to the part of the World Wide Web, which is generally accessible. It thus consists of those web pages and documents that may be of conventional search engines, which come with the help of web crawler through external hyperlinks from one site to another URL, captured. So theoretically can be found all reachable sides of the WWW.

But the fact is that the Deep Web is estimated that 400 - to 550 times larger than the surface web, which means that conventional search engines only search the top of a huge and ever-growing iceberg and thus make it visible in the search.
