Surrey Satellite Technology

The Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd ( SSTL ) in Guildford ( Surrey, England) builds small satellites.

It was established in 1985 to commercially market results for satellite research from the University of Surrey, which also holds 80 % of the company. Among other things, she developed the Galileo test satellites GIOVE -A, was launched into space on 28 December 2005. Surrey has approximately 240 employees and has a turnover of EUR 35 million.
