Survivor (U.S. TV series)

Survivor (literally survivor ) is an American reality television series. It is based on the developed by Charlie Parsons 1997 Swedish series Expedition Robinson and was first aired on 31 May 2000 on CBS. Concept

A group of people who do not personally know each other before the show is exposed to a remote place. The candidates in two or more strains are divided and must take care of themselves and without outside help for food, water, fire and shelter for their tribe.

Periodically, contests are held, where you can win a reward or immunity. In the first stage of the game occur in these competitions, the tribes against each other, only the winning tribe wins the reward and immunity. The latter is particularly important because at the end of each episode, a member of the losing tribe at the so-called Tribal Council ( Tribal Council ) is elected by the tribe 's own colleagues from the game. In a few cases, candidates had to leave the game but also for medical reasons after they had been injured or had fallen ill.
