Surwold

Surwold is a municipality in the extreme north of the district of Emsland in western Lower Saxony ( Germany ). She is a member municipality of the velvet municipality Nordhümmling whose administrative headquarters are esters ways.

Location

The districts of Surwold lie in the Emsland district on the northern edge of the Hümmling south coast of the channel.

Neighboring communities

Neighboring municipalities are in the northwest of the city of Papenburg, to the north the municipality Rhauderfehn in Leer district, in the east the communities Bock Horst, esters paths and Breddenberg, in the south the municipality Boerger in the Samtgemeinde Soegel and to the west the municipalities Neubörger, Dörpen and Neulehe in Samtgemeinde Dörpen.

Börger forest

History

Economy
