Susan E. Morse
Susan E. Morse ( born 1952 in New Jersey) is an American film editor. She has become known primarily for its longstanding cooperation with Woody Allen. From The City EUR sufferers to celebrity she cut all of his films.
Life
Susan E. Morse studied history at Yale University and attended for a year in New York, the School of Film and Television. During this time she worked for Barry Sonnenfeld as Camera Operator and assisted the editor Ralph Rosenblum, who was then Woody Allen's movies section. She decided not to continue her studies and began to work the city euro sufferers in the film. With her long-time girlfriend Thelma Schoonmaker, Martin Scorsese's Stammcutterin, they also worked on the film As with Raging Bull, in which she was an assistant editor.
Awards
For Hannah and her sisters, she was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA Award. For the BAFTA Award, she was also nominated for Radio Days, Zelig and Manhattan.
